WISO #8

Got quite the selection for this episode of WISO! 3 different types of flower, 3 different cartridges, and a few prerolls. Still been hitting up Barn 66 Dispensary. They've been great too me, have a rewards program, solid ass prices, great selection(and it's growing), local, and all around great people! The only cartridge I wasn't a fan of was the Gold Rush. I think some certain extraction methods leave aftertastes, and this is one of them. I really would like to find out what method it is that causes it, but it does almost have an alcoholy aftertaste. The Kingpins are definitely my favorite out of these three. The color has been very nice, the flavors are prominent and tasty, you can feel the effects, and they are smooth as hell. The only downside is the price. I can almost get 2 Kabooms for one Kingpin. Now, the Kabooms are gonna be my go to, on a budget. They are super solid for $30 for a gram cartridge. Those prerolls were pretty bad, like I figured. Lots of places use trim for their prerolls, and sometimes even sifted trim, so most prerolls like that just taste like sand, but for a buck, I figured why not? Now to the flower. The Purple Punch from A La Mode was actually pretty good. They had a few decent strains when I first got my card, but the quality seemed to fall off tremendously the next few times I tried them. The Purple Punch though was a very good addition to their line up so maybe they can begin to turn things around. The next two strains were from Rocking Star. I got the Kush Kush and Stardawg. Rocking Star seems to have a lot of kush strains, so Kush Kush just goes to show what I mean haha. They aren't the prettiest imo, but I wanted to try them since I hadn't. The Kush Kush was kind of a jack of all trades, lots of smells/flavors going on, and a very solid slant eye'r, where the Stardawg had more of that dairy/mowed grass smell, with the piney taste. It was more of a casual smoke and I didn't seem to notice any particular effects, maybe just a little spacey.
