In The Weeds
In The Weeds is the name of this weekly segment since I will be going in depth on what weed needs to grow in a deep water culture (DWC/ RDWC) systems. Taking a plant from seed to harvest has a few main cycles. Right now we are in the vegetative cycle of DWC which means the plants are developing their roots, stems, and nodes to be able to develop the best flowers possible come Flower cycle in about a month. With training techniques such as low stress training (LST) and Topping (cutting off the top node) I plan to maximize my yield and make sure my entire tent is full with big healthy top colas.
Chicago medical patients are allowed to grow up to 5 plants in flower at any given point. This means Chicago medical patients will need to make sure they are harvesting the most from their plants in order to have enough medicine to last until next harvest. If you are just starting a grow I recommend following along, especially if you are growing in a DWC system for the first time. Deep water culture and Recirculating deep water culture systems are thought to be intimidating but with a proper guide and a step by step tutorial I believe it is even less stress free than soil.
