Let's smoke and chat about some current events that have been on my mind and what I think they mean. In this History High State of The Union Address, we will discuss cultural appropriation by the Senate anddisregard for Black Americans by the Congressional Black Caucus. We will also talk about the 4th of July holiday, look forward to Thanksgiving and side-eye companies getting rid of their racist brand icons.
This is a BIG video so get lots of flower, dabs and/or edibles and let's stroll through recent history.

This is such great information to share and I didn’t learn about most of these topics until end of High school and taking African courses in college but I do feel the textbooks need to be rewritten. I’ve had teacher’s in the past go off the “basic curriculum” the school wants to tell us and more about how history wasn’t based on what was written in the textbooks today. I do feel learning cursive is very important and I’m so glad that early on I was taught and felt confused when schools did take that out and knowing now how important it is shows how controlling this could all be for out future generations to come. Thank you for this video content ❤️
What a great take! Proud to be a new subscriber. An interesting side note about written language, when I was in Japan, I had a Japanese document that was written during WW2. I wanted to get it translated but only the older Japanese I encountered could even begin to translate it. Written Japanese had changed that much in decades following the war.
I did celebrate the 4th & will continue to do so, however, I respect & appreciate your decision not to celebrate.
Why are corporations now so concerned about racist stereotypes? I believe it is because of white involvement in the protests that are making them anxious about their bottom line. I look forward to your next History High.
