Yes I totally agree with watering daily especially if your plants have a full root system built up. I use soil and I water daily as well, I also give my plants in flower two gallons of water daily, but I do use elevators so I do too get a lot of runoff. Nice to hear you say when I say that to a lot of people they say you might be over-watering, but my plants show me different. Great video!
Dr. MJ Coco Phd, suggests high frequency fertigation, which is the plan that I have been working. I've been feeding twice daily from the start in coco/perlite with great results. I believe it's almost impossible to overwater because the medium naturally keeps a nice balance of water and air. Fresh nutrients more often is a benefit. I'm sure I go through more nutrients than most but I'm expecting the results to bear out the additional expense. Also, with more frequent fertigation, less input is required to achieve the desired run off. Optimally, Dr. Coco states that with an auto fertigation set up, 5 feeds per day is the plan. Just stating what plan I follow.
