Harvesting CBD Hemp flower is an extremely labor-intensive process. There aren't really machines that help cut the hemp plants without hurting the quality of the smokeable CBD flower. I wanted to show you our process. We use hang drying in a temperature and humidity controlled environment to get the best quality. Most people when harvesting hemp, extremely underestimate the amount of space and time it takes. The weather can also be a huge influence on the drying process so air-conditioners and dehumidifiers are an absolute must. After the hemp buds are dry, the process is far from over. We still have to cure the bud by putting it in food-grade totes and then opening the totes daily to "burp" them as well as keep an eye on the curing process. In general, you can expect to spend at least 3 weeks once you cut down the flower to get the buds at a place where they're ready to smoke or vape.
