I forgot to buy some key ingredients for this recipe (these tacos really could have used some avocado and fresh cilantro) but alas, I still made a pretty delicious and simple tacos with some ingredients that I had in my pantry! I may be chaotic, but I am still satisfied with my final product!

I forgot to buy some key ingredients for this recipe (these tacos really could have used some avocado and fresh cilantro) but alas, I still made a pretty delicious and simple tacos with some ingredients that I had in my pantry! I may be chaotic, but I am still satisfied with my final product!
1 lb shrimp
Salt & pepper
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Smoked paprika
Chili powder
Juice of 1 lime
1/4 head of red cabbage, thinly sliced and chopped
Juice of 1 lime
Salt
Pepper
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1 tsp harissa paste (more if desired)
Pinch of salt and pepper
Juice of 1/2 lime
Water, if needed, to thin it out
Flour taco-sized tortillas
Combine all shrimp ingredients and let it marinate while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
Thinly slice the cabbage, then dice into smaller pieces. Add lime juice, salt, and pepper and let it sit while you prepare the rest of the dish.
Combine Greek yogurt, harissa paste, salt and pepper, lime juice, and a splash of water if needed to thin it out.
Cook the shrimp for about 2 minutes per side in a skillet over medium high heat.
Assemble the tacos: Plate flour tortillas and add shrimp, harissa yogurt, and cabbage slaw. Serve and enjoy!
