Does weed age well? Does it get 'better' like wine? Does long term storage (as opposed to initial curing) lead to stronger weed? Today on Lex's world we dive into this old stoner theory. As it turns out, the theory is pretty much a myth. Most people mean 'more potent' by 'better', and it is impossible to increase the potency of the trichomes on a dried, cut-off herb by storing it. Trichomes only degrade, but through proper storage (see my storage long-term storage episode) you can slow the degrading down significantly. there is an argument to be made for improved smell though. And it is also true that long-term storage "changes" the type of high your weed gives because as the trichomes degrade the THC ratio to other chemicals changes.
